Hospital holds fundraiser with holiday music, lights | Events
As the kick-off to Victorian Holiday, the Partners of Stoughton Hospital will celebrate its annual Love Light Ceremony on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the Stoughton Hospital lobby.
The annual Love Light Program provides a way to honor or remember loved ones while also giving back to Stoughton Hospital, a non-profit community hospital.
Each December, the hospital lobby is decorated with trees whose lights have special meaning. The lights memorialize those who have passed away, honoring loved ones, friends or special occasions and to pay tribute to those who have served or are currently serving in the U. S. military. Donations are accepted year-round.
New this year is a musical performance from an ecumenical children’s choir led by Linda Kunz, organizers said. There will also be a bell choir.
Father Randy Budnar from St. Ann’s Church will perform the homily followed by the reading of the names.
